Advice for General Public: Coronavirus Information


If you have travelled from China or have been in contact with someone confirmed as having Coronavirus in the last two weeks, you may be at risk of Coronavirus. Please do NOT leave the house. Instead, ring 111 if:

  • You have been in China in the last 14 days and develop cough, fever or shortness of breath; or
  • You have been in Wuhan or Hubei Province in the last 14 days or have been in contact with someone confirmed as having Coronavirus, even if you feel well.

Try the new NHS App

If you're a patient at our practice you can now use the new NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.

You can use the NHS App to book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, view your GP medical record and more.

If you already use Patient Access you can continue to use it. You can use the NHS App as well.

Please note this prescription service is for patients of Carisbrooke Surgery - East Sussex, and NOT Carisbrooke Surgery in the Isle of Wight.

To order your prescriptions online you will need to register for our new service, Patient Access. To use this service you will need to call in at the surgery personally in order to sign up and receive your registration details.


 


Repeat Prescriptionsblue_yellow_pills

PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone.

 

If you are on long-term medication you can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:

  • In person - drop your repeat slip (or a hand written note) in at reception with the required items clearly marked.
  • By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope and we'll post it back to you.
  • Via our on-line appointment booking/prescription ordering service - follow the link at the top of this page. Please call in at the surgery to register.
  • By using your local pharmacy collection service

 If you collect your prescriptions from a chemist please make sure to make a note of which one on your request.

 Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.

 

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
